Sunflowers for mom

To develop fantasy, arttherapy offers a very good method of free laying of lines and sports and next searching for shapes in them. This i show Julia was preparing a leaf for her picture Autumn, for instance. Until that time she had been able to draw a leaf like a circle of a letter D. To help Julia see something bigger in it, a dialogue about flowers, detailed analysis of their shapes and a pleasant memory which would connect sunflowers with a close person were necessary. In this case it was a memory of a bouquet of sunflowers which was a gift for her mom.
